Kim Victoria Cattrall born 21 August 1956, is the name of a British Canadian actress. Best known for the character of Samantha Jones in the HBO Sex and the City series for which she was nominated for five Emmy Award nominations and 4 Golden Globe Award, winning the Golden Globe 2002 for the best supporting actor. She reprised the lead role in The Sex and the City (2008 and Sex and the City 2) (2010) films. Her main role includes Police Academy, Big Trouble in Little China Mannequin, and Porky's from the'80s. Kim Cattrall will be remembered for her portrayal of Samantha Jones in the HBO sitcom Sex & the City. Cattrall has earned a reputation for her acting career as an actress. Her first credited role was in the film Abbott and Costello Go to Mars in which she was a guard from Venus.
